Hexagon Quilts

I have discovered hexagons...well the large ones. I tried English  piecing a few years ago and decided it wasn't for me. But I love sewing the larger ones. I used a half hexie ruler with this doll quilt and will quilt a lap sized one tomorrow.

Hope everyone is doing well,
Cathy

  1. You done good, woman! I like making them that way, too...made one 2 years ago and was seriously considering making another one of these days. Love the fabric you used. I am looking forward to seeing the larger one, too.

  2. Once I have finished the front and sandwiched it with the wadding and backing fabric, how do I stitch them together? Should I just stitch along the zig zag lines of the hexagons in the ditch? Is that enough or do I need to go around each hexagon again? Voltage Stabilizers
